Hafan Books was founded by Tom Cheesman, Eric Ngalle Charles and Sylvie Hoffmann in 2003. Currently Tom runs the project. Jeni Williams is a key collaborator. John Goodby edits the Boiled String Poetry Chapbooks series. HAFAN is a Welsh word meaning haven, sanctuary, asylum. All proceeds go to the charity Swansea Asylum Seekers Support.
